  9. In the mint library, is it correct to compile libgcc2 with -mshort?
  10. it says in the source to not do so, but one of the patches I got set
  11. it so that it does.  Which is correct?  I've tried looking at the
  12. source and don't understand this "loose type but strict mode"
  13. business...where is it documented?
